My airbrush art work developed from my day’s working in the automotive body repair and paint industry and then moving on to painting classic motorcycles. I used the airbrush for fine detailing motorcycle tanks, side panels etc and then customising bike tanks, helmets and various motor vehicle panels.
I learnt various techniques through trial and error, magazines and other airbrush artists.
I use aluminium composite panels for most of my work at the moment which is ideal for clear coating the finished work with automotive clear lacquer, protecting the work and making it easy to clean without causing any damage.
I’ve had work exhibited at the Macclesfield Open Art Exhibition for four years on the run.
