“Sound (Track)”Music is at the heart of this collaborative project. Students have taken inspiration from their own life experience and the music that is associated with this. Students studying photography, graphics, fine art and fashion will be showing their work.
Professional Photographers, Nigel Maitland, Martin O Neill, Antony Mulryan and Graphic Illustrator Nick Oldham have kindly agreed to showcase images relating to the Manchester Music scene.
The exhibition will be opened by Stephen Morris of New Order.
Hot Vestry to play at the launch, Macclesfield Band, Harry, Joe, Tilly and Will. They have played extensively around the UK including dates with New Order, The Charlatans and Johnny Marr.
The funds raised from the exhibition will be donated to the charity of Incubation Arts to support the renovation of Charles Roe House into an Arts & Cultural Centre, with a permanent Joy Division Exhibition being the cornerstone.
